Tiny Tennant Travels To - March Modeness

After an unfortunate accident on his last journey, Tiny Tennant decided to take it easy and travel light by traveling through time, visiting Depeche Mode in the month of March.
Why Depeche Mode?
Why March?
Why not?

Out of 14 studio albums, 5 Depeche Mode albums were released in March, 3 of which are considered their 3 greatest albums by many fans and critics.
The 2 album live release, 101 - the album recorded from the famous Pasadena Rose Bowl show on June 18, 1988 - was also released in March.

Let Tiny Tennant take you on a trip...

First stop, Life in the So-Called Space Age
Black Celebration - March 17, 1986
Black Celebration saw Depeche Mode continue on a darker journey, filling the senses with meaning and emotion through words and sounds.

Good Evening, Pasadena!
101 - March 13, 1989
The 101st show of the Music For The Masses tour landed in Pasadena, California giving us an epic 2 album/cassette/cd set with all of the greatest songs up to that point.
Tiny Tennant wishes he could have programmed the TARDIS to take him back to June 18, 1988 for the show itself.

All I Ever Wanted, All I Ever Needed
Violator - March 19, 1990
Considered the ultimate album by many, Violator is full of iconic songs and iconic imagery. The perfect way to begin a new decade and new era of music.

Your Favorite Passion; Your Favorite Game
Songs of Faith & Devotion - March 22, 1993
SOFAD would bring a new sound to Depeche Mode, heavy on guitars, heavy on drums, heavy on pulsing beats, and all with an underlying gospel feel.

Welcome to My World
Delta Machine - March 25, 2013
20 years after SOFAD, Depeche Mode returned to March releases with Delta Machine. This album found a return to heavy, unusual synth sounds blended with the now familiar instrumental sounds.

Get On Board, Get On Board, Get On Board
Spirit - March 17, 2017
Exactly 31 years after the release of Black Celebration, the band released their most recent album, Spirit, which takes a long, hard look at the who, the where, and the what that is going on around us in the world today. Sharp, biting, and moving, it's a sign - and sound - of the times.

Thank you for traveling with Tiny Tennant through this partial discography tour from Depeche Mode. He'll see you next time!
