Tiny Tennant Travels To - The Art Room

Sometimes Tiny Tennant needs to get away from the day to day routine. Where does he go to break away and find a little quiet time? To the Art Room! Art, in the form of painting in this case, can be very therapeutic.
Let's travel with Tiny Tennant and see where his artistic side takes him.

Grab a canvas Tiny Tennant.

So many brushes, so little time.

What colors do you want to use Tiny Tennant?

Paints have been chosen...

Let's get started!

Tiny Tennant Travels To - Howard Jones at The Admiral Theater

Tiny Tennant likes a good show. Tonight he traveled to see the incredible Howard Jones at The Admiral Theater in Bremerton, Washington.
The Admiral is a small theater with dinner and show tables on the main floor and regular seating in the balcony. It's the perfect venue for intimate shows with your favorite artists, for stage productions, and an overall great evening out.
Tiny Tennant enjoyed an opening set from the talented Rachael Sage, a singer/songwriter and dancer from New York, along with violinist Kelly Halloran.
After Rachael's set, Howard came out for an evening of personal stories and songs stripped down to just Howard and his keyboard. Songs such as "New Song", "Everlasting Love", "Things Can Only Get Better", and even a cover of George Michael's "Careless Whisper" filled the theater.

Come along on Tiny Tennant's night out!

Welcome to the Admiral!

Front row, balcony seats!

Hanging out, waiting for the show to begin.

Tiny Tennant watching the stage crew get set up for Howard.

There he is!

It's like traveling through time in the TARDIS.

Tiny Tennant found his way to a photo opportunity with Rachael and Kelly! Thank you ladies, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you!

Thank you Howard and Rachael for visiting The Admiral Theater. Tiny hopes you enjoyed your time here!

Tiny Tennant Travels To - Port Gamble

Some days you just need to get out of the house and go for a drive. But will there be a destination at the end of the road?

Tiny Tennant went for a road trip today and ended up in the tiny town
of Port Gamble, Washington. Originally an old mill town, Port Gamble now houses historic old homes - some of which have turned in to fun and quirky shops, a theater (not a movie theater), a general store, a museum, and is a popular destination for weddings and ghost hunting

Tiny Tennant wasn't able to show off many of his visits inside the shops, but he is happy to show you around town. Let's go Tiny Tennant!

Off he goes - where will the road take him?

Two large, green water towers greet you as you enter Port Gamble.

Tiny Tennant and the TARDIS landed on this sign sharing a little bit of the history of Port Gamble.

There are many interesting pieces of nature, art, and history to visit
around town.

For instance, this large, old bell.

And this Camperdown Elm tree.

Other amazing pieces can be found in and around the Historic Museum.

Thank you, Port Gamble, for your hospitality. Until next time...

Thanks for traveling along with Tiny Tennant. Please enjoy this final photo of his journey - a small blooper along the way.
Sometimes, when you hit a bump in the road, it's hard to stay upright. 😉😊

Tiny Tennant Travels To - Hi-Lo's 15th Street Cafe

Happy New Year from Tiny Tennant and Tiny Tennant Travels!

The last bit of 2017 didn't see Tiny Tennant traveling that often due to other life events getting in the way. But this is a new year and we hope to see a lot of new travels and adventures!

Let's kick off the year with a trip to Hi-Lo's 15th Street Cafe
in Bremerton, Washington!
This is a quirky, fun diner that is only open for breakfast and lunch. Known for their VW bus providing outdoor seating and their moon biscuits, this is a must for anyone looking for a great bite of food surrounded by the friendliest staff, great music, and TONS of crazy, awesome, and interesting knick knacks - some for sale, some for show.

Tiny Tennant - how did your visit go?

Welcome to Hi-Lo's!

The famous VW bus. Yes, you can eat inside of it. Unfortunately, it was already spoken for when Tiny Tennant went for lunch.

Time to go in Tiny Tennant!

All of the tables have cool old newspaper and magazine clippings with advertisements for everything from lighting for boats to...

...umbrellas for your child's sand box!

While waiting to be seated, or while waiting for your food, feel free to grab a mug for some self-serve coffee from the tail end of the VW bus inside the building.

Take a look around. You never know what, or who, you will find.

Order up, Tiny Tennant!

The end of every meal comes with a lunchbox full of candy.
Take your pick, Tiny Tennant!

Until next time...

Thank you to the amazing people at Hi-Lo's for the great food, great service, and great atmosphere. It's always a pleasure to visit.
