Tiny Tennant Travels To - The Bremerton Marina

It was a cloudy, somewhat damp day for traveling, but Tiny Tennant and his TARDIS landed along the Bremerton Marina for a walk around the sights, scenes, and boats along the waterfront.
Come along and see what Tiny Tennant saw on his journey.

These rounded TARDIS looking objects were all over.
Hello? Is anyone home? Is yours bigger on the inside as well?

Tiny Tennant perched above the boats docked in the marina. Off in the distance you can see a Washington State Ferry passing through.

The sign said to stay off of the art, but Tiny Tennant couldn't help but take a photo with this statue, titled The Proud Tradition, by Larry Anderson.

These fun and artistic blue benches pepper the boardwalk. Great spots for resting and viewing the boats and the water. Tiny Tennant can't help but feel at home here.

There are plaques throughout commemorating people, places, and events - including this one honoring firefighters from 9/11.

Along with the privately owned boats moored at the marina, you can also find some pieces of historic significance. This is the El Primero. This yacht was built in 1893 and was once considered one of the most luxurious yachts on the West coast. Former presidents, including Teddy Roosevelt and William Taft, along with people like Babe Ruth, former governors, and others have all sailed aboard the El Primero.

The Lone Sailor is another statue that Tiny Tennant wanted to take a photo with. Standing tall The Lone Sailor is keeping watch over everyone and everything that comes and goes.

The USS Turner Joy in the background. Unable to tour the ship today, Tiny Tennant hopes to go back again one day to see the inside. Stay tuned for that trip.

This was the end of the road - or boardwalk. Time to leave and head off on another journey. Thank you for taking the time to travel with Tiny Tennant.

Until next time...
