Hello from Tiny Tennant Travels!
Have you missed us?
Tiny Tennant has been out traveling through time and space visiting other worlds. He had a moment, though, to travel back to Seattle, Washington recently. Instead of visiting the most popular touristy spots, he visited a few "off the beaten path" locations in Seattle.
Let's follow Tiny Tennant as he travels to "Hidden" Seattle.
Welcome back to Seattle Tiny Tennant!
The first stop on the tour was the former home of Kurt Cobain. Out of respect to the family, Tiny Tennant did not take a photo of the home. He did visit Viretta Park next door to the home, however, and paid his respects on one of the benches full of messages to the Nirvana front man.
Next stop, Louisa Boren Park in the north end of the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
From Boren Park, there are scenic views across Lake Washington to the Eastside.
Boren Park also overlooks Husky Stadium at the University of Washington.
A trip to the University District took Tiny Tennant to an art piece called The Wall of Death, which can be found under the University Bridge along the Burke-Gilman Trail.
Tiny Tennant has heard of trolls that live under bridges. This stone block says there is a troll nearby...
Tiny Tennant, you might want to turn around...
There he is! It's the Fremont Troll!
Tiny Tennant's final stop was Bhy Kracke Park in the Queen Anne neighborhood.
With views of downtown Seattle, Lake Union, and Capitol Hill, this was a highlight of his journey through the city.
What a great view of Lake Union!
Another adventure in the books. What a great day.
Bhy, Seattle!
Thank you for joining Tiny Tennant on his travels!
