Tiny Tennant Travels To - March Modeness

After an unfortunate accident on his last journey, Tiny Tennant decided to take it easy and travel light by traveling through time, visiting Depeche Mode in the month of March.
Why Depeche Mode?
Why March?
Why not?

Out of 14 studio albums, 5 Depeche Mode albums were released in March, 3 of which are considered their 3 greatest albums by many fans and critics.
The 2 album live release, 101 - the album recorded from the famous Pasadena Rose Bowl show on June 18, 1988 - was also released in March.

Let Tiny Tennant take you on a trip...

First stop, Life in the So-Called Space Age
Black Celebration - March 17, 1986
Black Celebration saw Depeche Mode continue on a darker journey, filling the senses with meaning and emotion through words and sounds.

Good Evening, Pasadena!
101 - March 13, 1989
The 101st show of the Music For The Masses tour landed in Pasadena, California giving us an epic 2 album/cassette/cd set with all of the greatest songs up to that point.
Tiny Tennant wishes he could have programmed the TARDIS to take him back to June 18, 1988 for the show itself.

All I Ever Wanted, All I Ever Needed
Violator - March 19, 1990
Considered the ultimate album by many, Violator is full of iconic songs and iconic imagery. The perfect way to begin a new decade and new era of music.

Your Favorite Passion; Your Favorite Game
Songs of Faith & Devotion - March 22, 1993
SOFAD would bring a new sound to Depeche Mode, heavy on guitars, heavy on drums, heavy on pulsing beats, and all with an underlying gospel feel.

Welcome to My World
Delta Machine - March 25, 2013
20 years after SOFAD, Depeche Mode returned to March releases with Delta Machine. This album found a return to heavy, unusual synth sounds blended with the now familiar instrumental sounds.

Get On Board, Get On Board, Get On Board
Spirit - March 17, 2017
Exactly 31 years after the release of Black Celebration, the band released their most recent album, Spirit, which takes a long, hard look at the who, the where, and the what that is going on around us in the world today. Sharp, biting, and moving, it's a sign - and sound - of the times.

Thank you for traveling with Tiny Tennant through this partial discography tour from Depeche Mode. He'll see you next time!

Tiny Tennant Travels To - Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

Tiny Tennant took advantage of a sunny, but cool day to travel to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium in Tacoma, Washington. A small, but nice place to visit, Tiny Tennant got to travel with some of his favorite animals and marine life, until...

Tiny Tennant had a tiny accident. His travels were cut a bit short, unfortunately. But he still had fun and got to see some great things. Let's travel along and see the zoo through Tiny Tennant's eyes.

Crossing the Tacoma Narrows Bridge on the way to the zoo.

Before entering the zoo Tiny Tennant stopped for a photo opportunity with a tribute statue to Ivan the Gorilla

Tiny Tennant has his ticket and his map. Let's get started!

First stop - the Meerkats!

Lemurs!

Tiny Tennant was a little afraid of the sharks, but they sure were neat to watch.

Elephants are so big. From this distance, though, Tiny Tennant doesn't feel so tiny.

He's hard to see, but one of Tiny Tennant's favorite animals, the tiger, is roaming through the trees. Such beautiful creatures.

The sea lions are fun to watch, but hard to get a good photo of!

WARNING: The following photo may be hard to look at.
Please know that Tiny Tennant is going to be just fine. He will just have to be a little more mindful in his travels and photo opportunities.
But fear not! Tiny Tennant Travels will continue on!

Thank you for traveling with Tiny Tennant!
Until next time...

Tiny Tennant Travels To - Emerald City Comic Con

Emerald City Comic Con arrived at the Washington State Convention Center and Sheraton Hotel on March 1st, 2018. It runs the whole weekend, through March 4th.
Tiny Tennant traveled to ECCC for the first time ever on March 2nd. One of the biggest draws to ECCC this year?

DAVID TENNANT!
(It also happened to be David Tennant's first time ever at ECCC)

Tiny Tennant was not about to miss out on an opportunity to see the sights of ECCC, nor the one and only David Tennant.
Oh, and did we mention BILLIE PIPER was there too?

ECCC is a fast paced, jam packed convention with thousands of people and so many things to see and do. While Tiny Tennant had plans to get immersed in all things comic con, the reality of it was that it was a bit overwhelming and hard to get too many photo opportunities in while traveling around the convention center without getting lost in the process. But he did get a few shots.

Come along as we travel around ECCC!

Lanyard and badge, ready to go!

Off to Seattle on the ferry.

Welcome to ECCC!
"Do not touch or stand on ECCC Letters"

Oops.
Feeling cheeky, Tiny Tennant?

Photo op stop!

Tiny Tennant got to meet a favorite local artist, Jeffrey Veregge, who was kind enough to pose with him.
Please check out Jeffrey's website, his Facebook, and/or his Twitter to find out more about this awesome and proud Native American artist. If you like sci-fi and comics, you will love his work. Tiny Tennant approved!

Hanging out and waiting for an opportunity to see David Tennant.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Due to Tiny Tennant's tiny size, he made his way into a photo op with David Tennant via a travel photo tee.
Don't fret though. Tiny Tennant really was there with the group!

It was a little harder to sneak Tiny Tennant into a photo with Billie Piper, but he's there, and happy to be so!

After a long, loud, crazy day, Tiny Tennant is wiped out.
Time to call it a day.

Thank you Emerald City Comic Con, Jeffrey Veregge, David Tennant, Billie Piper, Wil Wheaton (who Tiny Tennant also got to meet, but was not able to take a photo with), and everyone else that was there and involved.
Until next time...
